Wesak is a very powerful celebration based around the birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha at the full moon in May. Traditionally centred around Mount Kailash in the high Wesak Valley in Tibet a point of power and place of pilgrimage for hundreds if not thousands of years.

Now even though the last Buddha, our beautiful great teacher the Buddha came 2,500 years ago - there have been many Buddhas who have come and gone in the teachings of consciousness and enlightenment of consciousness.

And this tradition, even though it is celebrated by all people who come from the pathway of Buddhism, is actually a gift that has a very old tradition that goes back beyond the last Buddhas visit if you will.

So it’s a very important event, it’s a great event, but the thing that really distinguishes it in the last 50 years or hundred years lets say, is the fact that globally we have moved from a consciousness that was village, town, city oriented, or in our personal lives oriented to the initiation of the self - to now the initiation of a global consciousness on the planet.

For a long time not only in the Buddhist kingdoms but in all kingdoms there has been a recognition that the world is changing in consciousness. We may call this the new age or the coming of a new enlightenment globally.

Buddhic energies coming into the planet and our consciousness, are celebrated, but we also celebrate the coming of the Christed energies into the planet.

And it’s the combination of these pathways that are celebrated now in synthesis at Wesak, a synthesis of wonderful spiritual energy entering the planet at this time.

All through the year, we are participating in many dimensions and in many ways with this wondrous movement of consciousness into higher consciousness. More light, more love, more joy, more enlightenment. More kindness, more compassion, more clarity.

This is particularly potent at the time of the Scorpio full moon in May, because at that time the earth is strangely and beautifully aligned and close in energies to the incoming energy of Buddha, or the Buddhic realm, the Christed realm, and the Synthesis of all Higher Consciousness.

All of a sudden, everyone on earth has the ability and has the gateway opened to actually anchoring, participating and changing consciousness, not only of themselves but of the planet itself.

Making it happen, making new consciousness actually appear in our hearts, in our whole being, in our very lives here. You don’t have to go to a monastery you can do it right here, in your life.

These festivals that we celebrate, or these points of energies being evoked and carried through are points of intersection where we can come together and co-create the new world in fact. The new world that is in us, it’s not outside of us it’s in us.

This new world is about reaching out to each other, and being kind and compassionate and joyful in our lives.

Being happy in our lives, being light filled in our consciousness and being active and free.

Not being tied to the past in the same way, but carrying the past and changing the whole body of consciousness not only in ourselves but in all beings.

And when we do this we are able to be a bridge between our Higher Consciousness which exists at all times in the higher realms, and that which is in the lower realms.

So we are acting as the bridge. The bridge of harmony between all worlds.
Wesak then is a great opportunity to come together, to be together in peace and joy and happiness.

To travel in our spiritual self, in co-creative self, in a group self, and participate in this amazing beautiful downpouring and upwelling of divine energy.

There has never been such a wondrous time as now, that is the opportunity of Wesak.

SEDNA & WESAK

In November 2003 a little planet was found and it was called by astronomers (these three wise men) Sedna, an Inuit or Eskimo word for Goddess of the Ocean.

The important thing about the discovery of a planetary body, astroid or something of that nature is that when the mind of humanity - which is a divine sacred mind - finds or ‘discovers’ a planet, it signifies that our consciousness is ready to absorb the symbolic knowledge or energy anchored by that planet.

Sedna cames to us in 2003 when the whole of our global community was in uproar over the ecological, the humanitarian, the political, the spiritual enlightenment of the planet. We are at a huge crossroads, it’s very exciting.

Sedna comes to us (interestingly in 2006) at the very moment our planet, Sedna and a few other planets in our solar system are aligned to the Galactic Core of our Galaxy.

This does not happen very often and signifies that we are ready to take our consciousness not only of us as a little planet, as a being on one little planet, we are ready to take our place amongst the stars.

We are ready to open ourselves and open the stars to this incoming Galactic Consciousness so that our sacred earth, our sacred solar system, our sacred galaxy, begins an enormous change in consciousness that includes itself.

This has not happened before. This is a very new and wondrous event.
Sedna takes a very long time to appear to us, the last time in it’s orbit it appeared to us was at the end of the last Ice Age, and what a time that was.

For 70 odd years, it appears in our night sky signaling the new turning. And it comes at a time when, coincidentally, we move from one part of the galaxy into the next.

Our orientation moves from the constellation of Pisces, into an orientation with the constellation of Aquarius. A very strange, curious and wondrous event.

And here we are on the planet participating consciously in it. So when we look at what Aquarius means symbolically to the body of humanity we know that it’s about brotherhood.

We know that in the new world these energies that flow through us are going to flow through us as a group consciousness.

So all across the planet in the last generation perhaps longer for some we have sped up in our consciousness.

We have made lines of enlightenment and love between each other.
There is a new being on the planet and it is called a Divine Synthesis Being, and it has all of us in it.

All life is awakening to the new energies that are entering the planet. We are awakening to the co-creative New Age Being that we are. And we are anchoring it now.

So in small ways and in large there is a networking that has occurred across the planet.

It is as if the whole body of the planet from devic, plant, animal, all the way up through humanity, angelic, all kingdoms are awakening to the divine being of being co-creative powers and conscious with God on this planet.

We have the internet, we have all sorts of organisational changes that are occurring. We have all sorts of amazing changes in the way that we deal with humanity, deal with our planet, and deal with negativity.

We believe that as a brotherhood and sisterhood of the planet we should live without poverty, without debt, without want, without need.

We should enjoy a period of life that is free of negative thoughts, negative emotions, and we believe that we can create a world without war, a world based on peace, on giving.

And we believe that the incoming energies will transform in us, in our very lives.

So by using ourselves as the small cup of change, we fill ourselves with Divine spiritual energy. We fill ourselves with love for the planet and for the solar system and the galaxy.

We take our place, however humble and small that place is, we take our place in amongst all life and we use our refined consciousness, free of negative thoughts free of negative emotions, and we allow the transmuting and transformative power of our Higher Consciousness in God, to exist and be anchored in our very very life.

The cup of our life runs over with this new transformation, and we make this transformation and we reach out to each other and all life on the planet, and all life everywhere, whether it appears as the life defined or is more.

We reach out and we embrace and we co-create a happy world.

It is not about going somewhere far from life, it is about being in life wherever you are, whichever job you have and making a change in you.

Bringing the extraordinary into the ordinary, and understanding that the life that you lead is beautiful, is wondrous and can be all that you want it to be.

All that needs to happen is to allow the Divine spiritual transformation to occur.
